Ofsted Inspection - September 2009

We are very happy to confirm that our Ofsted report has been published and is available to view on the Ofsted website (please go to Links page to view).

This was our first inspection set against the new Ofsted standards and regulations for Independent Schools. The report listed the school as good with many outstanding features. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS 0-5 years) outcomes were found to be outstanding alongside the children’s behaviour, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. In the remaining eight areas we were judged to be good with the inspector stating:

‘by the start of statutory schooling, the overwhelming majority of children have achieved above or well above the standards expected for their age’.

This was an excellent outcome for the school after a year which has seen the introduction of many new regulations including the compulsory EYFS. The report also stated:

‘the school had maintained its overall high standard of education since the last inspection’.
